In a bid to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cook-a-thon, Ghanaian chef Failatu Abdul Razak has announced that she will be extending the challenge from five days to 10.
Chef Abdul Razak has been cooking for five days straight, but she has decided to add another five days to the challenge in order to truly push herself and demonstrate her skills

The news was announced by renowned media network Adom TV on their social media pages as they disclosed Chef Faila's decision.

According to many, the support from Ghanaians and other important dignitaries in the country was what motivated Chef Faila to extend the date from January 1, 2024, to January 10, 2024.
Many people were overjoyed about her decision as they believed that would make her break the record and thereby making it difficult for another contender to break it.

Oyo chef reportedly breaks Alan Fisher's Guinness World Record, cooks for 200 Hours
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported earlier that Tope Maggie, a chef in Oyo state, finished his 200-hour cooking challenge to break a world record.
He started the challenge days ago and streamed his cooking live on his Facebook page, where people supported him.
Guinness World Records has not confirmed his record yet. Alan Fisher won the previous record days ago.
