Young Man Builds Electric Car Capable Of Travelling 100 Kilometers, Spends N9.4 Million

A young Ghanaian mechanic has been applauded for his creativity and ingenuity after he built an electric vehicle.

Speaking in an interview with Daily View Gh on YouTube, the young man who prefers to be identified as Flash said he spent $12,000, equivalent to N9.4 million, on the vehicle.

Sharing some details, the young man revealed that it took him three years to build the car, which runs on five car batteries and functions without an engine.

Touching on the mileage, he explained that the vehicle can cover 100 kilometres.

Quizzed as to whether he had reached out to any automobile company for support, he answered no.

"I have not reached out Kantanka or anyone for help, I believe in working on my own, the only issue I know will be an impediment is funding,"

He concluded by opening up on a plan to build another vehicle capable of travelling 200 kilometres.

At the time of writing the report, the video had caught attention and attracted many comments on YouTube.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that a young Nigerian man sent social media users into a frenzy with his unique invention that would rival the cooking gas.

With great joy, the youth demonstrated the use of his cooker using air, water and petrol connected to a pipe.

While many expressed safety concerns about petrol use, others thought pumping air to make fire was stressful.
