A Nigerian man, known as Asian Big Name, has fulfilled his pledge to ailing movie star John Okafor, popularly known as Mr Ibu, by transferring him N1.5 million for his medical bills.
In a Facebook post on Monday, October 23, Asian Big Name shared the receipt of his financial support as he sent a wellness message to Ibu.
"Our daddy, nothing will happen to you the joy and happiness you give us from my childhood even till date you’re still putting that smile & laugher upon our faces," he wrote as he wished Ibu a speedy recovery.
The young man expressed optimism that Ibu would come out stronger and put his enemies to shame. In his words:

Mr Ibu cries for help from hospital bed
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Mr Ibu had cried for help from the hospital bed.
The movie star, who has been known to have ups and downs in his health, is now bedridden at the hospital after his situation turned worse.
Mr Ibu took to his official Instagram page to beg for assistance from well-meaning Nigerians as he faces amputation. According to Mr Ibu, he has been down at the hospital for about two weeks now, and the doctors are considering cutting off his legs if things do not get better.
