36-Year-Old Virgin Says Men Leave Her When They Find Out She is Still Pure
- Sonali Chandra's decision to abstain from intimacy until marriage has cost her several potential relationships
- The 36-year-old dancer says most men go missing soon as they learn that she is still pure and is not willing to let go of the celibacy until a man puts a ring on it
- Interestingly, there are some who slide into her direct messages (DMs), believing they possess the charm to persuade her to reconsider her stance
At 36 year of age, New York dancer and comedian Sonali Chandra is still pure.
It is, however, a milestone that has cost her many relationships as, according to her, men don't seem to want such women anymore.
Sonali wants to remain celibate
She told News.com.au that her plan is to remain pure until she gets married, something that puts off potential suitors.

Sonali adds that her insistence on keeping off intimacy until marriage and lack of experience in the bedroom are her biggest undoing.
The Indian-American woman attributed her strong beliefs to the fact that she was raised in a “very conservative way” and, therefore, views intimacy as “sacred and special”.
“The first time I ever told a guy that I’m still a virgin was when I was 26. The guy who was my first kiss, my first actual relationship, he was shocked," she recalled.
People assume she's lesbian
She remembered how her first boyfriend's jaw dropped when she opened up about her terms, after which he asked if she planned on being so for eternity.
“I’m like, ‘listen dude, I need a ring, you know?’ He ghosted me after six months on my birthday,” she continued.
That would become the trend for her two other seemingly serious relationships as the men also abandoned Sonali after discovering she wouldn’t have it before marriage.
She adds that others have come to the conclusion that she is not really into men if she is not willing to go to bed with them.
Men want to conquer Sonali
Interestingly, her decision to make her status public public has earned her interest from men who are hoping to sway her mind.
“They know that I’m pure, it’s something that they want to conquer,” she noted.
Sonali posits that, as much as she's been unlucky in love due to her stand, she has no regrets about her chastity pledge.
She, therefore, wishes that members of the public (as well as family members) would stop pressuring her to “just do it.”
