Emotional support dog ruins flight

The passengers were on board Singapore Airlines from Paris to New Zealand when they found themselves sitting next to a noisy, emotional support dog.

According to Independent, Gill and Warren Press had booked premium economy seats but could not enjoy the flight as the dog farted and made uncomfortable noise.

“I heard this noise, a heavy snorting,” Gill told Stuff.

Adding:

“I thought it was my husband’s phone, but we looked down and realised it was the dog breathing."

Dog fart was smelly and unbearable

The couple reportedly asked the flight crew if they could have their seats switched.

Unfortunately, the only available seats were at the back of the plane in the economy class.

Gill and Warren noted that halfway through the flight, the dog's fart made the flight unbearable.

The dog's owner reportedly could not have the dog on the plane's aisle as flight attendants could not get the trolleys through.

“My husband was in shorts, and was getting the dog’s saliva goo on his leg,” Gill said.

Displeased, Gill stated the offer was unacceptable and demanded a full refund.

She said:

“We didn’t receive the experience we paid for."

Singapore Airlines, through its spokesperson, said the carrier contacted the couple.

“We sincerely apologise that this did not occur in this case, and will work with our airport teams to ensure that this lapse does not occur in future," the airline said.
