A lady identified as Kayleigh Ogleby decided to dial her mum's line nearly a year after her demise, which left netizens emotional.

Kayleigh said her mum's phone number is one of her favourites and was disappointed that it was disconnected when she dialled it.

She wrote on TikTok:

"My mum last had her phone turned on on her birthday- 12th June 2022. Her number is still on my favourites and, to be honest, will always be etched in my memory (its the same number shes had since I was 10!)
"Realising her number was disconnected was just another jolt in this awful journey that none of us wanted to be on. At what point do I delete her number? I just don't think I can."

The letters were hidden from her, and she never saw them until her mother's unfortunate demise.
