A Nigerian man jokingly sent his wife packing after the All Progressives Congress (APC)'s candidate Bola Tinubu won the presidential election in Ekiti state.

On Sunday, February 25, INEC's Presiding Officer in the state, Akeem Lasisi, announced the result at the state collation centre in Ado-Ekiti, where Tinubu beat Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.

Reacting, a Nigerian man confronted his wife, who was sleeping and asked her where exactly she hailed from. When she told him Ekiti state, he ordered her to stand outside the house.

He went on to fetch her bag and handed it to her at the doorway.

"So, you are from Ekiti state? The APC-PDP people? I don't know I have been living with someone from Ekiti state," he said to her.

But his wife protested, saying she was innocent.

"I no join them na."

The man insisted that she was part of them and slammed the door in her face when she told him that her mum is from Ondo state.

The funny TikTok clip has gone viral and stirred reactions.

Man punishes father for refusing to support Peter Obi

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian man had shared how he dealt with his father over his refusal to support Peter Obi.

The man took to Twitter to announce that he has stopped getting fuel for his father and giving him access to his car.
