Sad Photos as Mum Finds Son Who Quit School Years Ago Living in the Bush, Says He Took Loan of N185k

Love covers a multitude of sins and a mother's love transcends beyond her child's bad behaviour.

A mum is overly excited after reuniting with her son who has been living alone in a bush for years.

Quiet boy addicted to substance abuse

Brian Kamau who studied at Nanyuki High School scored an A in the 2014 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and went to Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).

However, in his second year, Kamau was involved in substance abuse which saw him drop out of school.

"My son Kamau has always been a good son he is a quiet boy and loves to obey. He started changing after joining campus bad company influence. My son started using abusing substances and became an addict," Kamau's mum said as recorded by Derrick Mbugua in his post.

She recalled the day before she parted ways with her son, Kamau used her phone to acquire loans.

"I recall before we parted ways he had used my phone to get loans KCB, M-Shwari, and Fuliza to a total of over KSh 50,000 (N185k). I have never paid till today. I have been listed in the CRB. I am not against anyone willing to help my son to go back to school and counselling since siwezi manage na niko na huyu mdogo," the mother said.

Kamau's father cries

Kamau's father, who had been hosting his boy in his home in Nanyuki said he also had no problem with anyone who wanted to come to their aid.

He said he was struggling to support Kamau and his new family in his one-bedroom rented house.

Kamau told Mbugua on phone that he was an addict but was reformed, as he had been sober for a few days

"Nikipata counsellor, I will appreciate sana. For the last few days kutoka nitoke huko sijatumia anything. Najua it's my last chance. I will not mess up. I have learnt the hard way," he said.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a woman had found her son who went missing four years ago.

He was in 400 level at Olabisi Onabajo University studying mass communication when the incident happened. When he was seen, he had become mentally deranged, looking tattered and unkempt.

An organisation, South-Westshire Health Trust, rescued and treated him before they were able to link him to his family.
