Social media platform Instagram has again served as the catalyst in bringing two people together who would eventually fall in love.
This is as a lady identified as Motunrayo shared photos from her engagement event on Instagram as she is set to tie the knot with a man she met on the platform.

She went on to narrate how they got talking, stressing that the man had actually been in her DM since 2019.

The text he sent her that eventually caught her attention goes thus:
"I'm going to get in trouble because of this.”
She eventually responded to the message three days later it was sent. According to the lady, she told him to first patronise her business before she can give him her WhatsApp number.
"Something about him just drew me in. we spoke constantly, talked about our future and he slowly became my best friend and confidant...
"...We just fell into step with eachother, it’s pretty easy to do with someone like him; so thoughtful and caring. intentionality at its finest, she wrote."

Man engages lady a month after she DMed on Instagram
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian man had engaged a beautiful lady a month after she DMed him on Instagram.
Idris Gombawa, in a Twitter post, recalled how he met a beautiful lady at a pharmacy, but lacked the courage to strike a conversation with her or say anything.
According to the man, the lady would reach out to him on Instagram to enquire if he happened to be the same person she accosted at the pharmacy.
That move by the lady kick-started their friendship with the man engaging her a month after their conversation on Instagram.
The beautiful love story was sealed with marriage 8 months later. He wrote:
