While some Africans cannot name a single reason to remain in their nations on the continent, Oyinbo people, especially ladies, seem to fancy Africa more.

Some of these ladies found themselves in Africa by chance and fell in love with the continent, but for others, it was a deliberate migration decision.

1. Juliana Belova

Juliana Belova is one of the few ladies who made a move many will see as outrageous.

The white lady packed her bags and decided that she was moving to Nigeria and hasn't looked back ever since.

The Russian lady, popularly known in Nigeria as Oyinbo Marlian, left her country for Nigeria with only N41k.

When questioned on the reason behind her uncommon decision, Juliana said she left Russia because of her fascination with Nigerian comedy. She is one of the Nigerian content creators at the moment.

2. Thessa Bagu

Thessa Bagu on the other hand has been residing in Nigeria for the past 15 years but it wasn't somewhat deliberate.

According to the Dutch lady, she arrived in Nigeria in 2006 on a 2-year vacation but came to love the country and its people.

She said the country has changed her life for good despite the prevailing challenges it is facing.

3. Stephanie Fuchs

For Stephanie Fuchs, love happened to her, but not in Nigeria though - in Tanzania.

The German woman who arrived in Tanzania in the year 2011 as a research camp worker fell in love with a local man.

Their love blossomed to the point that she hasn't returned back to her country.

Oyinbo businessman says one can be successful in Nigeria

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that an Oyinbo businessman had stated that one can be successful while in Nigeria.

The businessman McMichael disclosed that his company had invested billions of Naira into the Nigerian markets since the commencement of operations.

McMichael, who stated that money made by the company is being ploughed back into the country, noted that they have 170 manufacturing stores across the country.

He remarked, like a Germany-based Nigerian, that one can be successful with smartness and hard work in Nigeria amidst lots of speculation that investing in Nigeria might not be successful.

The man explained that it is due to their firm’s belief in a good Nigerian future, hence, dousing the speculation that investing in Nigeria might not be successful.
