Roles in the Royal Armoured Corps and Infantry carry higher physical demands, requiring a mid-thigh pull of 76kg, a medicine ball throw of 3.1 metres, and a 2km run completed within 10 minutes and 15 seconds.
Several of the roles also have part-time reserve equivalents, allowing individuals to serve with the Army Reserve while maintaining a civilian career.
Reserve commitments require a minimum of 27 days per year, with training conducted on evenings and weekends, alongside opportunities for overseas deployments and adventure training.
