The year has started on a high note for a Kenyan man who correctly predicted most of the matches in the SportPesa mega jackpot.
Who is latest SportPesa jackpot winner?
The prize currently stands at a cool KSh 344 million (N1,943,326,531.01), and Keneth Rotich came close to walking away with it. If all his predictions were correct, he would have joined Samuel Abisai, Cosmas Korir, and Gordon Ogada in the elite club.
However, Rotich correctly predicted 14 out of the 17 matches and walked away with KSh 1.5 million (N8,626,533.26)

"SportPesa millionaires club, index 1 2024. What stops you from correctly predicting the 17 matches and walking away with the money?" the company wrote on Wednesday January 3.
An image shared online depicted a SportPesa representative handing over a dummy check to Rotich.
Numerous Kenyans observed that many of the previous winners were also Kalenjins like Rotich. Here are some of the reactions:

Another man won N102m
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian man, identified as Mr Bayo, was millions richer after he won N102 million overnight from sports betting.
In a tweet on X on Friday, November 10, 2023, an excited Bayo displayed his winning tickets as he broke the news of his massive win.
According to Bayo, he made a stake of N234k to win the whopping sum and hinted at rewarding his followers with some of the money.
