A Machakos University lecturer has touched hearts both in class and online after volunteering to carry the baby of a student who had to sit for an exam.
Ruth Mburu's gesture hailed as humble
In a Facebook post by philanthropist Dennis Mbugua, the teacher is shown carrying the baby on her back while invigilating the exam.
The baby was so comfortable that it slept peacefully on the lady's back as the exam continued.

A note posted along with the Facebook post read: "The lecturer picked up the innocent baby and continued invigilating the exam. This is extra mile...blessings beyond blessings, big up madam," he said.
Ruth is passionate about family education
Mbugua, who was also impressed by the lady's loving gesture, publicly appreciated her as well.
Content creator Duncun Mbuya, who also hailed the lady said: "This Ruth Mburu, a lecturer at Machakos University. When I met her several years ago, I could tell she was passionate about education and family."
"She carries answer sheets whenever she goes, just to ensure she marks and delivers results on time.So she wasn't pretending? May this child grow to be humble as Ruth. May her mother find favour after completing her studies. It is not easy to study when nursing a baby but she's dedicated."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that
a male student sent social media into a frenzy over his score on an examination he took.While keeping mum on his school, he shared the answer sheet showing he got 30/30 as a final score.
