A Canada-based Ghanaian man, Mark Ansah, has passionately discouraged people from permanently relocating to Canada.
The realtor and father, who described himself as a Christian believer, explained that Canada has frigid temperatures that would make their stay miserable.
Ansah goes viral
In a TikTok video, Ansah advised people planning to move to the country permanently to reconsider.

"Stay where you are; never come to Canada because it's cold here," he said in the footage seen online.
Mappr published that Canada emerged third in their list of top 20 countries by lowest temperature ever recorded.
Since appearing online, the clip, which generated controversy, has been viewed more than 73,000 times.
In a subsequent video following a heavy online backlash, Ansah explained that his recommendation against moving to Canada was a joke.

Man who relocated to Canada expresses regrets years later
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that a man who worked for 20 years in Canada travelled back home with regrets.
The migrant revealed that he had to return to his country and work there for seven years before his life improved. The migrant stated that his life would have been much better if he had stayed back in his country.
The man added that he used the money he had made in his country to buy two properties in Canada with cash.
