A Nigerian lady who is a master's student revealed she was just getting her ID card three years after gaining admission into one of the country's prestigious universities.

Twitter user, @themotunglobal said she applied for admission to pursue a master's degree at the University of Ibadan in 2019.

The lady finally gained admission and is about to graduate. However, she never received her student ID card. She only just got it a month before the date she was billed to defend her thesis.

This means over three years had passed before she was issued the ID, and some people have said it is of no use.

The lady wrote on Twitter:

"I applied for my masters degree 2019 and started the processing 2020. I’m glad to inform you that I was just given my Student I.D card in 2023 when my thesis defense is next month."
