A trending video on TikTok shows the tearful moment a young man helped an elderly stranger he met on the road.

The hardworking aged man was packing and disposing refuse to raise money for the upkeep of his family.

In the video, he gathered refuse from different locations and pushed it around with a truck to the place of disposal.

At some point, he sat on moulded blocks to rest for a while when a young man identified as @mclaminecoach on TikTok walked up to him to offer assistance.

He took him in his car to a boutique, where he bought new clothes and shoes for him. He also bought food items like bags of rice and groundnut oil before driving him to his house.

According to the young man, when God blesses you, be a blessing to others. He also advised that loving when someone is alive is very important.

The video has attracted reactions from netizens who commended his kind gesture and said some prayers to him.
