A young lady, @sireonit, has made a video to thank God for how she has survived as a sickle cell patient. She revealed that people never thought she would live long.
Narrating her story on TikTok, she revealed her mum was told that she would not live till 15 years old. The mother was also advised to be prepared and get another child.

Not only did she overcome it all, the Nigerian lady said that come November 7, she would be turning 25 years old. She also successful too.

Many Nigerians who reacted to her video rejoiced with God on her behalf as some others shared similar experiences.

Man and fiancee are both AS
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian man with the Twitter handle @ucmchika went online to speak about how he and his fiancee are both AS.
His tweet was in response to a pharmacist's post on the platform who spoke about the need for prospecting couples to do genotype, blood group, hepatitis B&C, fertility tests among others.
The man said that after knowing the AS genotype status of themselves, they had to fast for one month on the instruction of their pastor.
