Mixed reactions have trailed a viral video of a young boy walking out on his mother on his graduation day.
The excited mother had arrived at the graduation venue with a floral ribbon which she decided to place around his neck.

On sighting her son, she ran towards him with the ribbon but he was not happy with it. He looked so embarrassed and walked out on her.
His reaction has however sparked outrage on social media as many criticise him for walking out on her. However, a few people took sides with him.

Some hours ago, multiple news outlets had reported that a woman's house was wrecked by her 12-year-old son because she seized his phone. Legit.ng gathered that the widespread unverified reports are following a now-viral video released on Twitter by @_sjae on September 14.
The tweep had reported that the wreckage was done by a 12-year-old boy because his mum took away his phone. However, @_sjae would later retract her statement in a subsequent tweet, saying that she was misinformed.
