Despite his humble background, he was able to acquire education up to the secondary school level and began working when tragedy struck.
One day, it was noticed that one of his legs was rotting and giving out an offensive smell and it had to be amputated following medical recommendations.
As if that wasn't enough, his fingers suddenly began to peel off. His parents took him to the hospital for treatment and had to return him home owing to their financial incapabilities.
Presently, he can't use his hands or legs.
Dominico's dad corroborates the story
Speaking with the media, Dominico's dad confirmed the story, adding that their son cannot even hold anything with his hands.
They made him the basket as they couldn't afford to get him a wheelchair.

Physically challenged man, 36, abandoned by parents gets help
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a 36-year-old physically challenged man who was abandoned by his parents had received help.
With his parents' action, the responsibility of catering for him fell on the shoulders of his younger brother.
And for the past 10 years, his younger brother played the role of his parents by providing food as well as helping him move about.
Legit.ng gathered that his younger brother had to drop out of school to fend for himself and his elder brother properly, but all that has changed now thanks to the kind gesture of the good-spirited persons who made cash donations.
