Detective Adopts Boy who Survived Horrific Family Massacre Case he was Investigating, Makes Him his 7th Child

An American detective has adopted a young lad who managed to survive an horrific family massacre he had investigated.

@goodnews_movement who recounted on Instagram the ugly incident which transpired in 2018, stated that Florida detective Mike Blair, of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, had responded to a horrific crime scene.

On getting there, the detective found out that a man had shot his girlfriend, son and special needs daughter. The girlfriend and special needs daughter died, with the young lad being critically injured.

The boy wasn't expected to make it

As fate would have it, the young boy managed to pull through. However, while at the hospital, it is reported that the detective frequently visited him.

On one of the visits, the boy asked the detective if they could see a movie together, a gesture the man said pulled his heart strings.

Now about 12 years of age, the young lad said he feels loved by his adoptive family and 6 siblings.

Nigerian woman adopts 12-year-old boy she found on the street

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian woman had adopted a 12-year-old boy she found on the street of Abuja.

Laylah, according to her post on Facebook, had found the 12-year-old lad on a street in Abuja and was moved by compassion.

The media personality upon meeting the lad whose occupation was to move with cattle asked him if he would like to be enrolled in school, to which he obliged.

Laylah reiterated that she met with his family and they agreed to her adoption request after putting up some resistance. The excited lady shared a photo with the boy alongside two of her sons.
