A Nigerian dad, Bishop Emmanuel Uzomaka Ohanekwu, has taken to social media to show off his son in celebration of his academic feat that was recognized at the convocation ceremony of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
His son identified as Ohanekwu Favour Ebuka bagged several awards and prizes as he emerged the overall best graduating student of the prestigious institution with a CGPA of 4.88.

Bishop Uzomaka shared numerous photos on Facebook capturing the historic event that took place on Saturday, December 11.
In some of the photos, Favour's father and mum shared the convocation stage with him as lecturers in academic gown presented him with some of his prizes.

In another frame, the brilliant student was seen flaunting a cash prize board of N100k he was warded at the occasion.
Some of the feats his son recorded
According to his father, Favour bagged the Faculty of Technology Best Student award, Best Male Engineer of the Department, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Best Student award amongst others.
Bishop Emmanuel dedicated his son's successes to God almighty for making it a reality.

Wumi Ayeni Adesina commented:

Nigerian lady emerges best graduating medical student
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian lady had bagged several awards as she emerged the best graduating medical student.
Dr Chiemeka-Okonkwo had 14 outstanding distinctions and won several awards at the induction ceremony of ABSU.
In one of the adorable photos sent to Legit.ng by Izuchukwu Okonkwo, the young lady could be seen smiling for the camera during her graduation ceremony.
The second photo shows her in a medical uniform, arms akimbo as she posed for the professional picture.
One of the awards she bagged included a certificate of notable accomplishment in recognition of being the overall best graduating student for the year 2021.
