World's Most Premature Baby Defies Odds, Breaks Guinness World Record

A newborn baby from Alabama has broken the world record for being the most premature baby.

Baby Means was born in July 2020, weighing 420 grams.

His due date was expected to be on November 11. Doctors gave him a 1% survival odds when he was born, and the little champ outdid himself.

"The medical staff told me that they don’t normally keep babies at that age. It was very stressful."

Baby responded well to treatment

According to a Guinness World Record website report, Means responded extraordinarily well to treatment and, as the days and weeks went on, he grew stronger and stronger.

The baby was born with a twin sister who was also delivered at 21 weeks one day, named C’Asya Means. However, she was less developed and did not respond to the treatment like her brother did. Tragically, she passed away just a day after birth.

Woman finally gives birth after 18 years of waiting

In other news, a Nigerian woman has finally given birth after waiting for 18 years. Photos of the new mum and her child were shared on Facebook by STV-9ja.

In the photos, joy was written all over the woman's face as she held her baby in her arm while relaxing on the bed.

Sharing the photos, STV-9ja wrote:

"She waited for good 18 years. God miraculously answered her today. She put to bed and Born 50 minutes ago.
"Congratulations Ma!"

Woman finally gives birth to triplets in Bayelsa after 11 years of marriage

Legit.ng previously reported that a woman identified as Samuel Bhiologialoaziba Regina finally had every reason to rejoice after she had waited for long 11 years to have children.

On Monday, March 8, a Facebook user, Tony Adams, said that the woman gave birth to a set of triplets in Bayelsa state.

Speaking with newsmen, the woman appreciated God for turning her sorrow into joy and blessing her with children.
