A young lady, Evoni Williams, made the news in 2018 with her act of kindness to a customer at a restaurant where she was working as a waitress to raise money for her college.

According to a report in CNN, she graduated from secondary school and picked a job at Waffles House so as to gather funds for her further studies.

She was observant

One day, an old man who had a critical medical condition showed up at where she works and placed an order.

Despite being overwhelmed by the day’s work, Evoni noted that the man could hardly feed himself. Before visiting the restaurant, Adrien, had just undergone surgery that made him unable to use both his hands.

Instead of just continuing with her shift, the lady who did not know she was being recorded helped feed the man, University Fox reported.

She was being watched

A customer who saw everything unfolding filmed and shared the moment on Facebook. Soon after, the mayor of her city paid a visit to the restaurant to meet the kind lady.

After the meeting, she got a very big cheque of $16,000 (N6,571,200.00). While speaking to the media, she said that she did not know what she was doing was a big deal.

Nigerian lady got a scholarship

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a Nigerian lady, Onyinye Anthonia Ezeifeka, went on LinkedIn to celebrate how she got a European scholarship for her master's degree in soil science.

The lady said that the success came after she had spent many months looking into a laptop, an act that made many call her a yahoo girl.

The lady said that she has finally cashed out from all her pains and struggle. Onyinye went ahead to appreciate God for helping her.
