1. Nathaniel Bassey, who was born on 27th August 1981, is a Nigerian gospel trumpeter, songwriter, pastor, and singer. He is popular for hit songs such as "Imela," "Onise Iyanu," and "Olowogbogboro." He has been a household name in the Nigerian gospel music scene for a long time now, being one of the most heard ministers of the genre.

Bassey's genre of music is eclectic and crosses several genres, including jazz, worship, hymns, and medleys. Bassey is a member of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and serves as a pastor at The Oasis Lagos, the RCCG Kings Court youth church on Victoria Island, Lagos.

Born in Ikot Ofon Ikono of the Uyo local government, Akwa-Ibom State, Nathaniel spent his childhood in Lagos. His father, Mr. E. Joshua Bassey, was an Apostolic minister. Nathaniel earned a degree in international relations and politics from the University of Lagos and continued with his political studies in London subsequently. He continued his music study in the Middlesex University Summer School.

Born on 24th July 1976 in Kaduna State, Nigeria, he was brought up in his parents' household, Dn. Abel and Grace Haruna. He has dedicated his life to ministry from the time he began public service in 1999, the year he founded the Shepherd of House of Bliss International Church (HOBIC) with branches in Lagos.

He began with a prayer chain among friends via messenger and email, which grew into weekly prayer meetings. These prayer sessions spawned the establishment of the Shepherd of House Fellowship, a young believer and Christ-lovers' ministry. The first official gathering occurred on April 9, 2000, and after several adjustments, the ministry became the Shepherd of House of Bliss International. It now also operates in different articulations like the bi-quarterly 'When Christians Pray' sessions.

Apart from ministry, Success Samuel is also an artist. He has written 25 poems and composed up to 500 songs, showing how creative he is as an artist. Scholarship-wise, Success Samuel possesses a PhD in Social and Personality Psychology from the University of Ibadan and an alumnus of WOFBI and Shalom Bible Institute. He is a world peace diplomat certificated and a doctoral fellow of his organization. He is also an executive member of the National Association of Social Psychologists (NASP) and a member of the Nigerian Psychology Association (NPA).

Popular for being a friendly figure in person as well as online, Success Samuel refers to himself as "the man on God's heart on earth," something that speaks about his commitment to his faith as well as to his vocation to inspire people through music, ministry, and books.
