The Centre for Commonwealth Affairs is a new policy engine for the world's largest network. It aims at bringing minds together from business, politics and diplomacy to put together workable, practicable policies for pan-Commonwealth cooperation thereby giving the Commonwealth an active and sustained voice.
The Director of the Centre, Mr Sam Bidwell, expressed the need for information sharing and required actions to ensure adequate policies are in place. The event was well attended with representatives from various Commonwealth countries as well as members and supporters of the Centre.
The N-BA was formed in Nigeria in 1969 as a corresponding Association. In 2009, the Association was incorporated as a trust, a non-profit making organisation dedicated to developing relationships between individuals and organisations in Nigeria, Britain and the Commonwealth resident in Nigeria. The Association organises social, cultural and business activities designed to bring together friends and associates from Nigeria, Britain and the Commonwealth with a collective vision to impact positively on the community for the common good.
