2023 Presidential Election Marred by Manipulation of Results, Falana Declares

In a development that will excite thousands of Peter Obi supporters, human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), has faulted the 2023 presidential election.

Falana said that the 2023 presidential election was marred by result manipulations.

According to him, some of the factors that marred the elections included insecurity, late arrival of materials, violence and thuggery.

Falana said:

“The presidential and National Assembly elections were marred by insecurity in many places, late arrival of materials, violence and thuggary and manipulation of the results.
“INEC has admitted that there were logistic and technological challenges. Nobody is saying that the election was perfectly conducted. There are challenges.
“INEC should go back to the drawing table and fine-tune its strategy. They said they painstakingly made plans to conduct elections, but the implementation had some challenges. To me, this is an admission on the part of INEC.”

Meanwhile, Festus Keyamo, spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, has revealed why Bola Tinubu won the presidential election.

According to him, Tinubu won the February 25 elections because he was the “only pan-Nigerian candidate”.

Tinubu polled 8,794,726 votes. Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had the second-highest figure with 6,984,520 votes, while Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), was next with 6,101,533 votes.
