Atiku in Trouble in the Northeast? APC Chieftain Reveals What Will Happen

Deputy national publicity of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Hon. Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, has declared that Atiku Abubakar will be shocked when the result of the presidential election in the northeast is announced.

Atiku who is the candidate of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) hails from the north-east region.

Ajaka thanked the state governor and people of Borno for coming out en-mass to support their son and the vice presidential candidate of the party, Sen. Kashim Shettima.

APC chieftain says Borno people ready to vote Tinubu in the northeast

Daily Tust reports that the APC chieftain said not even the biting cashless policy will stop the determined people of Borno and entire northeast from coming out next week Saturday vote the APC.

He said:

"The Borno outing is a clear message for the PDP and its Presidential candidate that a surprise is awaiting them in the northeast."

Ajaka expressed confidence that his party will not only win in North-east but emerge victorious at the general election across the country.

Going further, he assured the people that "Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is a promise keeper who will fulfil all the promises he has made in his manifesto and reposition the country for better."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, elicited excitement among their supporters in Borno as admirers on Saturday, February 18 turned the APC rally in Maiduguri into a street carnival.

A statement from the Tinubu media office sent to Legit.ng on Sunday, February 19, indicated that major city streets were filled with jubilant supporters bearing placards and banners expressing their support for the APC candidates.

According to the statement, the heavy campaign train brought human and vehicular movements to a halt in major parts of the city as attendees abandoned their vehicles to trek long distances to catch a glimpse of the APC presidential candidate.
