Worship Centres: Muslims Give Back As Masjid 1001 Initiative Rehabilitate Mosques, Announces New BOT

  • Thousands of Muslims in Nigeria have enjoyed some of the initiatives of the not-for-profit Islamic group- Masjid 1001
  • This comes as the Islamic group elects Alhaji Ibisomi Ibrahim as chairman following the end of Dr. Musa Rabiu’s 5-year tenure
  • About one million Nigerians have benefited from Masjid 1001’s support to 14 community mosques across the country

Muslims in Nigeria have benefitted from the programmes initiated by the Islamic group- Masjid 1001. Mosques are the main beneficiaries of the initiative.

The initiative was instrumental in the completion of renovation works at the Kogi state University’s Mosque, Ayingba, Kogi State as well as borehole drilling and prayer section tilling of Mama Mamayi Mosque at Iyekhei village, Auchi in Edo state. Specifically, about 14 projects have been completed across 5 geo-political zones.

Meanwhile, the delay in progressing and concluding the construction of the Michael Okpara University mosque in Abia state is said to be due to security challenges in the south-east region, the group said in a press release obtained by Legit.ng.

Meanwhile, the group announced the appointment of new members of its Board of Trustees. The new BoT will be led by Alhaji Ibisomi Ibrahim, FCA as Chairman following the end of Dr. Musa Rabiu’s 5-year tenure.

Other members are: Mr. Niyi Yusuf as BoT Vice Chair, Engr. Ali Goni as Chairman, Project Implementation Committee; Alhaji Ibrahim Bello as Chairman, Mosque Selection Committtee; Mrs. Olasinmibo M. Sanusi-Zubair as BoT Secretary; Ms. Aisha Oyetunji as Assistant BoT Secretary alongside Mogaji Taofik Yekini, Mr. Idris Musa, Mrs. Yelwa Fatima Baba-Ari and Dr. (Mrs) Yagana Imam as BOT members.

Lady flaunts new look after she quit being too religious

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a lady had shown off her new look since she stopped being too religious.

According to Hassanat, she was dumped for being too religious. The lady jumped on the popular before versus after social media challenge in a showcase that attracted criticism from the Muslim faithful.

Taking to her TikTok page, she shared pictures in which she was all covered up from head to beyond her knees as she sported hijabs. What followed in the 'after slides' were pictures of a completely changed personality.
