2023: Good news for Peter Obi as Catholic Knights dismiss Muslim-Muslim ticket

  • Catholic knights have joined the Christian Association of Nigeria to reject the Muslim/Muslim ticket of APC
  • According to the association, since the body is party of the Christian organisation, any decision taken is consequently biding on them
  • Recall that CAN had stoutly opposed the issue of same faith ticket as adopted by the presidential candidate of APC, Bola Tinubu

The Knight of Saint Mulumba, Nigeria has thrown its weight behind the position of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, on Muslim/Muslim ticket of All Progresives Congress, APC.

This was disclosed by he Worthy Metropolitan Grand Knight, Knight of Saint Mulumba, KSM, Nigeria, Michael Aule.

According to him, his members were in support of whatever position CAN had taken on the same faith matter, Vanguard Newspaper reports.

Meanwhile, some Nigerians are refusing to criticise Professor Chukwuma Soludo, governor of Anambra state, over his recent letter about the ambition of Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP).

Soludo in an article titled ‘History Beckons and I Will Not Be Silent (Part 1)’ dismissed Peter Obi's presidential ambition, insisting that Obi will will not win.

However, a section of Nigerians believe the Anambra state governor is a realist and his position on Peter Obi is valid.
