Spelling Bee: Your Child Could Be the Next MTN Nigeria CEO
Entries for the third edition of the MTN mPulse Spelling Bee competition are now open for primary and secondary school students between 9 -15 years old.
Akinyele Ademoyegun who emerged as the winner of the 2021 edition out of over 13,000 participants all over the country won himself a N2 million scholarship grant, a laptop, a smartphone, mPulse goody bags, and Nestle products. He also won a cash prize of N350,000 for his English teacher along with a brand-new laptop. His school, Kaydel Group of Schools also received10 laptops alongside 10 Hynet modems courtesy of MTN.

This year's edition promises to be bigger, better, and more exciting with truly amazing prizes! The overall winner, alongside the first and second runners-up, will be recognized and rewarded with cash prizes for themselves and their English teachers. The champion’s school also gets rewarded with the latest ICT devices including laptops, smartphones, and modems. Even more interesting, the winner gets to become MTN CEO for a day!
The competition, which was launched in 2020, is part of MTN Nigeria’s initiative to promote education and enable students across the country to excel academically and improve their vocabulary will consist of three rounds. The first and second rounds will be held at http://www.mtnonline.com/mpulse while the grand finale will be held at the MTN Plaza, Falomo Ikoyi.

Interested students and schools in Nigeria may register to participate on https://mpulse.mtn.ng/home/spellingBee if they are registered on the mPulse plan. However, students who wish to migrate to the mPulse plan may text mPulse to 344 or dial *344*1#. Upon registration, contestants will have access to practice materials on the website.
