Chidi Mokeme Yet To Forgive Atiku Abubakar Over Deborah’s Murder

In a message that will annoy supporters of Atiku Abubakar, Actor Chidi Mokeme has lambasted the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate.

Mokeme accused Atiku Abubakar to delete the tweet condemning the death of Deborah Samuel by a mob in Sokoto.

Mokeme wailed as he recounted how Atiku deleted the tweet, noting the move left him utterly pained.

Recall that Deborah Samuel, a year two student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto state, was lynched and burnt to death by some students for alleged blasphemy on May 12, 2022.

Following the gruesome killing, a tweet was made via the former vice president’s Twitter handle condemning the act which triggered unpleasant reactions from users from the northern part of the country before it was deleted.

But, Atiku explaining why he ordered the tweet to be taken down revealed it was deleted because he did not approve that it should be posted in the first instance.

Reacting to the PDP principal’s action, Mokeme wept that the politician he once loved so much couldn’t condemn the killing of poor Deborah.

Speaking Pidgin English with tear-filled eyes, the movie star said: “Ah. E get something wey pain me well well. You see that day wey dem kill that girl, that day wey dem kill Deborah, that Deborah girl.

“I come go for Twitter. E pain me that day because that day wey dem kill Deborah wey Atiku tweet hin support finish, con go back go delete the tweet.

“That day wey Atiku go back go delete that tweet….So hin no fit condemn the killing of that poor girl?

“E pain, e pain me that day. E pain me well well that day. And that day, I go tweet am. I say, ‘boss, sir… sir I been like you o! But sir, this one pain me. Why you delete this tweet?’”

He captioned the video: “This Thing Pain Me Well Well… I Just Say Make I Tell You Because The Thing Dey Make Me Cry Anytime Wey I Remember… Anyways God Dey. Las, Las….”

Meanwhile, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers state and some stakeholders accused the PDP national chairman of gross financial mismanagement.

Reacting, Iyorchia Ayu maintained that his leadership has so far been guided by transparency and accountability.

Similarly, Governor Nyesom Wike and his men are not done with their rift with Atiku Abubakar, PDP presidential flagbearer.

In a new move, the aggrieved men have decided to shun the campaign launch of the former vice-presidential candidate.

Meanwhile, Atiku has arrived in Uyo, Akwa Ibom capital to flag off his presidential campaign for the 2023 general elections.
