2023 Presidency: Tinubu Best Candidate To Drive Nigeria to Prosperity, Says Fashola
- Babatunde Fashola has opined that the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is the best person to lead Nigeria come 2023
- According to him, the former governor of Lagos and his running mate Kashim Shettima, are equipped with the experience to serve Nigerians
- Going further, the minister also said right-thinking Nigerians will vote for the APC in the 2023 general election

In what many supporters of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi will reject, minister of works and housing, Babatunde Fashola has described the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the best candidate to drive Nigeria to prosperity.
Fashola insisted that Tinubu is a leader, who is capable of moving the people towards the prosperity that is imminent for Nigeria, Vanguard Newspaper reports.

He said:
“In my own opinion, Asiwaju is the best person to drive that vehicle because I’ve worked with him at very close quarters. I know his capacity. I know his tenacity.”

Going further, he added that right-thinking Nigerians will vote for the APC in the 2023 general election.
“Nigerians have had the opportunity of two governments.
“On a very deep reflection, right-thinking and well-meaning Nigerians will re-elect our party into governance, I am optimistic about that.”
“I think we have served this country as efficiently as we can — in the most difficult of times.
“No government has faced COVID; we did. No government has faced a global scarcity of resources caused by a war in which we are not involved; we did and we are still managing that economy, providing hope and sustainability.
“I’m optimistic that we will win."
2023: Group unveils first political summit for APC, PDP, others, gives crucial reasons
Meanwhile, a group under the aegis of Credible Alliance for Better Nigeria (CABN), has launched the first-ever political summit for Nigerians and political parties ahead of the 2023 general election.
The national coordinator of CABN, Dr. Ahmed Badanga confirmed this development through a statement sent to Legit.ng on Monday, July 25.
The leadership of the group noted stated that:
"It is a Summit to re-appraise our Democracy & Good Governance, the unprecedented challenges and the way forward.
