Ike Ikweremadu: Passport, NIN of Kidney Donor in Organ Harvesting Saga Surface, Reveal His "Age"

There is a new twist in the alleged child organ harvesting case involving Senator Ike Ekweremadu as the international passport of the supposed kidney donor, Ukpo Nwamini David, surfaced.
The London Metropolitan Police had on Thursday, June 23, charged Ekweremadu and Beatrice, his wife, to court over the allegation of bringing a child to the UK for organ harvesting.
The investigation was launched after detectives were alerted to potential offences under modern slavery legislation in May 2022.

The UK authorities said the “child”, said to be 15 years old, had “been safeguarded”, while the police added that its operatives “are working closely with partners on continued support”.

Passport, NIN cast doubt over claim that Ukpo David is 15
Meanwhile, a report by TheCable stated that, although the police had said the donor was 15, data from his international passport show that he is 21 years old.
According to information on the passport page of Ukpo, he was born on October 12, 2000. AIT News also reported.
The date of issuance of the passport was listed as November 4, 2021. Also, a check on the Bank Verification Number (BVN) portal also showed the date of birth as October 12, 2000.
Letter shows Ekweremadu applied for kidney transplant visa
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that a letter released by Senator Ekweremadu's media team indicates that the Enugu-born politician informed British authorities that he was taking a boy abroad for a kidney transplant for his daughter.
The letter accompanied the visa application the senator made for the boy addressed to the British High Commission in Abuja.
The document seen by Legit.ng showed Senator Ekweremadu applied for a visa for the boy named David Nwamini Ukpo, the same name on the passport, on December 28, 2021. In the letter, Ekweremadu said Ukpo was undergoing “medical investigations for a kidney donation to Ms Sonia Ekweremadu”.
