Recall that Legit.ng had reported that a dispatch rider in Lagos state was apprehended with a baby found in his courier box.

However, the police has refused the report, claiming that the baby was not kept inside the dispatch rider's box.

The police said the baby was with the rider with the mother's consent.

The incident which happened in Sangotedo area of Lagos, attracted a lot of people who descended on the yet-to-be identified rider.

A video of the incident shared on Twitter by Gidi Traffic showed the rider being beaten by mob as he was being dragged to a police station.

One of the persons in the background was heard saying, “This is the child that was abducted.”

The development comes amid the outrage over the murder of a 22-year-old fashion designer, who went missing after boarding a BRT in the area.

Driver of BRT bus late Bamise entered shares what happened

While the public continues to demand that justice be served in the murder of 22-year-old Bamise Ayanwole, who went missing and was later found dead after boarding a BRT, the bus driver has narrated what happened on that day.

In an interview with TVC News, the driver identified as Andrew absolved himself of having anything to do with the murder stating that he ran away out of fear.

According to him, three unidentified men who boarded the bus after he picked the lady were behind the murder.

In another report, Nollywood actress Deborah Shokoya better known in the industry as Debbie has lamented over the death of a 22-year-old fashion designer, Oluwabamise Ayanwole, who was allegedly murdered in cold blood by a (Bus Rapid Transit) BRT driver.

A few days ago, the news of Bamise's disappearance after she allegedly boarded a BRT boss went viral, however, it has been confirmed that the missing fashion designer is dead and some of her body parts missing.

Reacting to this, Debbie Shokoya rained down curses on the perpetrators of such an inhuman act.

The actress wondered why one would be so callous to murder his or her fellow human being in cold blood.
