Henley Business School Grants Scholarships to Five AdCademy Alumni
Henley Business School and the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) have announced the award of full and partial Post-Graduate Diploma scholarships to five alumni graduates of the AAAN AdCademy masterclass programme.
The recipients of the full scholarship, Nkedilim Monye, Account Planner, Imaginarium Marketing Communications and Sheriff Akinpelu, Founder of Strategy Trybe, will gain access to 12 months of education valued at $7,000 each.
Recipients of the partial scholarship, Joy Akemo Daniel of Agile Communications Ltd, Nabila Abdulmajeed of Imaginarium Marketing Communications and Abiona Elizabeth of Care by Zest will receive a 50% scholarship valued at $3,500 each.
Speaking at the virtual event, President of AAAN, Steve Babaeko, while expressing his gratitude, stated that the scholarship is a result of a strong connection between the AAAN and the Henley Business School which will further deepen their partnership.
“This scholarship is a deepening of the relationship we started cultivating with the Henley Business School last year and we do not take the partnership for granted. I want to thank the Henley team for the scholarship”, he said.
Sheriff Akinpelu, on behalf of other recipients, thanked the AAAN for the AdCademy initiative as well as Henley Business School for the opportunity to learn at a prestigious institution.
“I want to thank Henley Business School for the opportunity and the decision to raise the partial scholarships to 50%. The scholarships will go a long way for all of us,” he said.
A masterclass for business executives in the advertising industry is scheduled to hold on 23 and 24, February 2022 and will be facilitated by global business experts such as Bernd Vogel, Professor of Leadership and Founding Director of Henley Centre for Leadership; Pepe Morais, Group Chief Creative Officer, Joe Public United and Jon Pedley, Dean, Henley Business School.
The masterclass is set to provide a rounded and practical education on solving niche-based challenges confronting business executives in the advertising industry.
