A die-hard supporter and member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Dele Momodu, on Friday, December 10, spoke on how he was given a treat at one of the most comfortable hotels in Nigeria.

Momodu, the owner of Ovation Magazine, shared a video of the moment he was served an array of continental delicacies at the hotel.

The PDP stalwart was impressed by the kind gesture of one of his former English Language students he taught almost 40 years ago in Ile-Ife, Osun state.

Momodu concluded that going by this wonderful act of hospitality, the reward of a teacher is no longer in heaven but here on earth.

He wrote on his Instagram page:

"What a royal treat as usual at one of the most comfortable hotels in Nigeria @harvardcontinental situated at Ile-Ife where I stayed last night... Special thanks to the Chairman CHIEF BIYI FADEYI and ERELU OLAJUMOKE ADEBOLA for their warmest hospitality..."

Meanwhile, Momodu said former Vice President Atiku Abubakar challenged him about the 2023 presidential election.

The politician met with the former vice president at the opposition party's national convention at Eagle Square on Saturday, October 30.

Taking to his Instagram page, Momodu opened up on what he and Atiku discussed. The post reads:

"I felt honored when the former Vice President of Nigerians Wazirin Adamawa ALHAJI ATIKU ABUBAKAR challenged me to a contest: “Dele, I heard you want to contest Presidential election, we shall meet in the field… You also wrote that I’m too old...
"I responded: “Your Excellency, I can’t take a unilateral decision on contesting Sir. Also, I did not say you’re too old, I said age is a factor and there are many young qualified Nigerians and your boy who responded to my article did a poor job…”
