Another Tragedy Hits Kano As 400-Level Female Student Dies of Chest Pain
- A 400-level student of the Faculty of Education, of Bayero University, Kano has died after complaining of chest pain
- According to the school authority, she was given drugs when she complained at the university clinic
- She reportedly responded to treatment and attended lectures on Thursday and Friday but was found dead round 7pm

In what can be described as a huge tragedy, a young woman, Binta Isa, has lost her life after complaining of chest pains. The incident occurred at Bayero University, Kano.
According to the management of the institution, the deceased was a 400-level student of the Faculty of Education until her demise.
Punch Newspaper reports that the deputy registrar, Public Affairs, BUK, Lamara Garba, in a statement, said Isa was found dead at her hostel around 7pm on Friday shortly after she complained of acute chest pain.
She reportedly responded to treatment and attended lectures on Thursday and Friday.

The statement read in part:
“On Friday, November 26, 2021, in the evening towards Magrib prayer, her symptoms deteriorated, as she complained of chest pain to her roommates. But she struggled to perform ablution and prayed the Maghrib prayer in the room.
“However, her roommates were shocked a few minutes later when they found her lifeless body on the floor, prompting them to raise the alarm and rush her to the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, where she was confirmed dead by doctors."
Legit.ng also reported that the families of 28-year-old lady, Hannatu Yahaya have been thrown into deep mourning after she died on her wedding day.
The deceased, who hailed from Kawon Maigari area of Kano metropolis, died hours after her wedding ceremony. She got married to Isyaka Yusuf at Bulama mosque in Kano on Saturday, November 27.
Meanwhile, Nigerians on social media have mourned the death of the woman.

"How do you confirm it is ulcer or typhoid as reported ? Ulcer is not a day or two weeks issue. I think the poor medical provision must have killed her. A scan would probably have revealed intestines obstruction causing severe pain in her abdomen. May her beautiful soul rest in peace."
