It Is Wrong to Expect your Husband to Apologise, Obasanjo’s Wife Lectures Women on How to Keep their Homes

Ketu, Lagos state- For Aduke Obasanjo, the wife of ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, it is wrong for women to expect their husbands to apologise even when the men are at fault.

The Punch reports that she made this statement on Sunday, November 21, at the 41st Adult Harvest Celebration of the Celestial Church of Christ International Headquarters, Ketu, Lagos state.

The theme of the event was, ‘Harvest of Abundant Blessings, and Mrs Obasanjo, who represented her husband at the occasion, advised women on how to keep their homes.

She warned women against involving third parties in their marriages, while saying it is an honour for women to bear the prefix ‘Mrs.

She thereby urged women paying bills in their families not to disrespect their husbands.

Aduke said:

“Women who shoulder the responsibilities of their husbands are only lucky to be blessed by God; it’s never enough for them to disrespect their husbands.
“Instead of expecting a man to say sorry, women should learn how to lead their husbands to the bedroom and touch them romantically. Whatever you do in the house will have an impact on the children and those children are the seed that will give us rest of mind. The rest of mind you give your husband is important.”
