Why Autopsy on OAU Master’s Student is Delayed, Police gives Important Reason

Osun state- The Police Command in Osun says the autopsy on the slain post-graduate student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Timothy Adegoke, is delayed because his family’s insisted on being part of the process.
The Punch reports that the police public relations officer in the state, SP Yemisi Opalola, in an interview on Sunday, November 21, in Osogbo, said that the autopsy would now be carried out on Monday, November 22, at Osun University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo.
Opalola, however, said that the deceased’s body was deposited at UTH as against Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, which she erroneously mentioned during a radio programme “based on misinformation.”
She also said that no part of the deceased’s body was removed when it was exhumed in the presence of his family members, the police and the pathologist, as being rumoured.

“The family has indicated that they will be available on Monday (tomorrow) for the conduct of the autopsy.
“I will like to add that the deceased’s family members were equally present when the remains of the deceased were exhumed."
Hilton Hotel Owner Ramon Adedoyin speaks on OAU student’s death from Police
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Ramon Adedoyin, the owner of Hilton Hotel and Resort, Ile-Ife, has denied involvement in the death of Timothy Adegoke a postgraduate student at the Obafemi Awolowo University.
Adedoyin who is currently detained by the Osun state police command said he did not connive with his workers or anyone to kill the student.
The founder of Oduduwa University further stated that he first heard about Adegoke when police declared him missing.
Fear grips residents as Abuja Imam Is found dead, Police reacts
In another development, on Thursday, November 18, an Imam with the Kubwa Cemetary, Mallam Abdurasshid, was found dead.
It was reported that Abdurasshid's body was found on a farm where he used to fetch firewood for his family to use at home.
A relative of the Imam, Adamu, said Abdurasshid left home at about 10 am on Wednesday, November 17, and did not return.
