Breaking: Buhari Finally Breaks Silence on EndSARS Panel Report, Reveals Next Move

Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the report submitted by the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Restitution for Victims of SARS Related Abuses and other matters.
Legit.ng gathered that the Nigerian leader on Thursday, November 18, said he will await the steps taken by governors, before the federal government takes action.
Recall that the Lagos judicial panel had on Monday, November 15, submitted its concluded report on cases of police brutality and the Lekki toll gate shooting to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
He made the disclosure at a meeting with Antony Blinken, United States secretary of state, in Abuja.

In a statement shared on Facebook by Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, Buhari explained that state governments will have to take steps on the reports of their panels, before the federal government acts.
He said:
“So many state governments are involved, and have given different terms of reference to the probe panels. We at the federal have to wait for the steps taken by the states, and we have to allow the system to work. We can’t impose ideas on them. Federal government has to wait for the reaction of the states.”

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Obianuju Catherine Udeh popularly known as DJ Switch also reacted to the report submitted by the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry.
The Nigerian disc jockey, on Monday night, November 15, declared that the truth needs no defence, saying what they desperately tried to hide has now been made public by them.
DJ Switch in a post shared on her social media platform noted that so many lives were shattered.

Meanwhile, Temitope Majekodunmi, the youth representative on the Lagos judicial panel on police brutality, has said there are errors in the panel’s report in circulation.
For instance, on pages 297 and 298, which has the list of casualties, numbers 37 and 38 are repeated, making it appear that 11 deaths were recorded instead of nine.
Majekodunmi, in a statement on Wednesday, November 17, said the errors were corrected before final submission
