Three months after Rev Wilson Badejo, the former General Overseer of Foursquare Gospel Church Nigeria died, his widow, Rev Mrs Yinka Badejo has passed away.
The Nation citing Church Times revealed the 72-year-old died in the early hours of Friday, November 12, after being ill for a while.

Sources within the family noted that late Rev Badejo had been ill before her husband’s demise back in August.
It was gathered that the former general overseer who was not sick expressed concern about his wife's health, P.M News added.

Though the church is yet to release an official statement on her death, a source said it may have to wait until the end of its ongoing annual convention.
Former general overseer of Foursquare Gospel Church dies at 74
According to an earlier report by Legit.ng, the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria was thrown into mourning following the death of its former general overseer.
Badejo who was the church’s general overseer between 1999 and 2009, died on Saturday, August 7, after a brief illness at the age of 74.
His passing was announced by the national secretary of the church, Yomi Oyinloye. The church, in a statement, described the late cleric who served in several ministerial capacities as an accomplished servant of God, a great achiever and a respected family man.

Meanwhile, a number of prominent pastors in Nigeria have passed on in 2021. Legit.ng earlier highlighted major religious figures who left the world in the last four months.
One of them was Pastor T.B. Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) who was confirmed dead on June 6, 2021, via a sorrow-filled statement on the verified and official Facebook page of his church.
Joshua was to celebrate his 58th birthday anniversary on Saturday, June 12, but death came knocking in the early hours of Sunday, plunging his lovers and followers across the world into mourning.
