Sani Dangote: Deep Grief as Africa's Richest Man Loses Brother in US

The vice president of the Dangote Group and brother to Aliko Dangote, Sani Dangote, died in the United States (US) on Sunday, November 14.
According to Premium Times, Sani who like his elder brother has investments in manufacturing, agriculture, banking, and oil services, died after battling with a protracted sickness.
Before his death, the deceased was known to have headed the boards of several companies in the conglomerate like Dangote Cement, Dangote Sugar, Dangote Agro Sacks, Dangote Refinery, Petrochemical, and Fertiliser firm.
But most of all, late Sani was famous for his role as the chairman of Dansa Holdings, a subsidiary of the Dangote Group.

He was the owner of Dansa Foods Limited, Dansa Energy, Sagas Energy Limited, Bulk Pack Services Limited, Dansa Agro Allied Limited, and Dangote Farms Limited.
Even more, the business mogul was a member of several Chambers of Commerce, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Shipping of Nigeria.
Announcing Sani's death, the Dangote Industries wrote on its official Facebook page on Monday, November 15:
"It is with a heavy heart but with total submission to Almighty Allah that we announce the passing of our Group Vice President, Alhaji Sani Dangote, today, 14th November 2021.
"May Allah SWT grant him mercy and admit him in Aljannat-al-Firdaus!"

Recently, Dangote was spotted in a rare moment with other businessmen aboard the same private jet. A video capturing the moment was shared on Instagram.
Legit.ng gathered that the men were on their way to Saudi Arabia for the lesser Hajj known as Umrah in Islam.
The Umrah is a religious ritual of great significance performed by Muslim Ummah for the sake of Allah. It is believed that all the requests made while performing the act are answered by Allah.
