Amotekun Arrest Suspected kidnapper Labram Ibrahim who Disguised as Lunatic in Ondo

  • Amotekun has nabbed a suspected Kidnapper who disguised as a lunatic, Labram Ibrahim, in Ondo state
  • The 30-year-old kidnapper was arrested in Akure garage of Ondo town, following his suspicious manner of movement and outfit worn
  • Meanwhile, the operatives were able to get hold of him quickly following close monitoring while the suspect was walking aimlessly in the area

Akure, Ondo state- Operatives of the Ondo State Security Agency Network, popularly known as Amotekun Corps have arrested a suspected kidnapper identified as Labram Ibrahim.

30-year-old Ibrahim was said to have feigned lunacy when he was apprehended.

He was arrested in the Akure garage area of Ondo town, headquarters of Ondo West Local Government Area of the state, following the suspicious manner he was dressed and walked, PM News reported.

According to reports, the Amotekun operatives in the area, who had been monitoring him, pounced on him when he was about to be picked up by some persons in a black jeep who arrived to take him away.

An eyewitness who claimed to be a hawker in the park, said, “prior to his arrest, he was noticed walking aimlessly like a lunatic to and fro Akure garage to Itanla junction before the black jeep pulled up beside him to carry him.

“His action raised suspicion which made people around the area to gather and beat him.”

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that In his resolve to stem the tide of insecurity in the state, Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde, has appointed the Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Abiodun Ige Adams as the state's ambassador for the Western Nigeria Security Network (WNSN) better known as Amotekun.

In a statement made available to Legit.ng, the governor also presented a brand new Jac Pick up Van to Aare Adams as a pilot vehicle with three members of the security outfit as part of Adams' security entourages.

The Aare Onakakanfo while receiving the van applauded the governor's courage in ensuring that Oyo state is safe for all residents.
