AGF Malami: 13 Major Anti-corruption Victories Won by Buhari's Battle Axe

One of the cardinal promises of President Muhammadu Buhari in his first administration (2015) was to estimate corruption and its many perpetrators in Nigeria at all levels of government through existing antigraft agencies.

Thanks to Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice Abubakar Malami, the Buhari-led federal government has gotten hold of some top ex-public servants who looted much of the country's funds.

In the war against corruption across the country, Malami has been the government's number one battle axe and the fear of him is the beginning of wisdom for those who might be nursing the evil idea of getting their slices of the national cake through illegal means.

Meanwhile, Malami had reacted to claims by a 'fake police officer' arrested in connection with the raid at Justice Mary Odili's residence in Maitama area of the Federal Capital Territory.

Malami in a statement released on Thursday, November 11, distanced himself from the acclaimed chief superintendent of police, Lawrence Ajojo.

The AGF described the fake police officer Ajojo as a "drowning man scavenging for a dying partner".
