The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a secessionist group proscribed by the Buhari-led administration said its weekly Monday sit-at-home order remains cancelled across the southeast, Leadership reports.
Emma Powerful, the spokesperson for the outlawed group made the disclosure in a statement issued on Thursday, November 11.
According to him, anyone caught enforcing the relaxed order is an enemy of the region, adding that such people are neither from IPOB nor from its volunteer groups, Vanguard added.
The IPOB spokesperson advised the people of the southeast to ignore anybody enforcing the sit-at-home order and to go about their normal businesses.

Empty streets as Anambra residents begin sit-at-home despite IPOB's cancellation
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that most streets in Anambra state were empty as residents stayed indoors due to the one-week sit-at-home order.
Although the IPOB cancelled the order on Thursday evening, November 4, residents remained indoors due to fear of being attacked or harassed for stepping out.
A Legit.ng reporter who visited several busy areas in the state capital like Unizik Junction, Ifite, Okpuno Agu Awka observed a lull in business and commercial activities in the area.
Sit-at-home: Anambra residents go about their duties day after election boycott
In a related development, residents of Awka, the Anambra state capital city are back to the streets a day after many of them stayed away from polling units in the just concluded governorship election.
A Legit.ng reporter in Awka noted that most of the residents were seen either heading to church or returning from one as of 8 am on Sunday, November 7.
The situation is a far cry from what was witnessed on election day when many of the residents stayed indoors and refused to participate in the election due to the fear of violence and in some cases, loyalty to the IPOB led by Nnamdi Kanu.
