In the mighty name of Jesus: Many children gather at Soludo's house, pray for him to win Anambra guber
Meanwhile, as the collation of the results of the Anambra governorship election continues in Awka on Sunday, November 7, many children had prayed for Soludo to become governor.
Soludo, a former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), is the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
The children who gathered at the country home of Soludo, Isuofia, were said to be those on his scholarship scheme.
One of them was seen chanting "in the name of Jesus" as he and his peers prayed for Soludo to become victorious in the election.
At the time, Soludo had seen an increase in his existing margin of lead. The APGA candidate had won in 18 local government areas while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Young Progressives Party (YPP) won each.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) had not won any LGA by this time.

Ezeabikwa Sammy Obi commented on Facebook:
"Congratulations Prof. I know you are fit for the job in all ramifications. A professor you are and you must distinguish yourself as one. And remember one good turn deserves another. Whatever you do in Anambra will either bring more respect or shame to the title professorship and the education in general. We believe you and pray that God bless you with good health and Wisdom to do a good job in our state."
