Anambra 2021: Photo Captures Soludo's Location, Activity in The Heat of INEC's Collation of Results

There was much tension, anticipation, and anxiety in the heat of the collation of results for the Anambra governorship election on Sunday, November 7.
While the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was declaring collated results from all polling units in the local government areas of the states, candidates across political parties were attentively listening with all the attention they can muster.
For Charles Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), it was a cool Sunday evening at his residence.
On his Facebook, the APC candidate expressed his gratitude to God for his mercy and noted that "many are the afflictions of the Righteous, but the Lord delivereth him from them all".

In the Facebook post, Soludo was seen glued to his television screen as the results which later turned controversial were announced.
He wrote:
"A cool Sunday evening.
"It is indeed the Lord's day and we must first thank God almighty for his mercy. Indeed, "many are the afflictions of the Righteous, but the Lord delivereth him from them all.
"Good evening my people."
Meanwhile, Professor Florence Obi, the returning officer for the election, announced the suspension of results collation at INEC head office in Awka, Anambra state capital in the early hours of Monday, November 8.
She said an election had to be conducted in Ihiala local government area before a winner is declared.
The supplementary election will hold on Tuesday, November 8.
However, results from 20 out of 21 LGAs in the state have been announced. Professor Charles Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) won in 18 of the 20 LGAs and lost to the Peoples Democratic Party and the Young Progressives Party in the remaining two.
