Abba Yusuf Bichi, son of the director-general of the Department of State Service (DSS), has shown his support for popular socialite and entrepreneur, Obinna Iyiegbu, widely known as Obi Cubana.
The footballer took to his Instagram page on Monday, November 1, to share a photo of the nightlife entrepreneur describing him as a man of honour and dignity in the caption.
However, Bichi's social media post didn't sit well with quite a number of people. This irked some Instagram users who bombarded him with questions and criticisms.

In the comment section of the post, some Nigerians were seen accusing him of supporting yahoo boys.

The DSS DG’s son replied to one of the social media users, asking:
”What are the sentiments here sir? So it’s wrong in supporting a friend in difficult time?”
EFCC interrogates Obi Cubana for money laundering
In a previous report by Legit.ng, Obi Cubana was allegedly arrested by the EFCC for money laundering.
The Anambra-born club owner, who arrived the headquarters of the EFCC at Jabi, Abuja, at about noon on Monday, November 1, was interrogated by operatives of the commission.
Though allegations against the socialite were sketchy, a source disclosed that his case borders on alleged money laundering and tax fraud.
Davido shares solidarity post for Obi Cubana following EFCC arrest
Meanwhile, Singer David Adeleke aka Davido is a strong ally of the popular Cubana ‘brothers’ and he has shown support for the socialite.
The music star took to his Instastory channel with a photo of the nightlife entrepreneur and accompanied it with a short caption praising him.
Davido also made sure to tag the official handle of the businessman.
