Squid Game: Netflix Gives Green Light for Season 2, Releases Brief Teaser

Squid Game Season Two is making a comeback to screens sooner and is going to be a bigger thriller and will include games that will prove a tougher test for humanity.
According to GMA News, the popular contestant-themed teaser has been released showing the return of Gi-hun.
In a letter, the series director wrote:
"A whole new round is coming. And now, Gi-hun returns. The Front Man returns. Season 2 is coming."

Squid Game features participants gathered from marginalized parts of society and competing in traditional South Korean children's games for money.
The winners are awarded huge sums of cash while the losers are put to death.
Divorced gambler
CNN reported Seong Gi-hun, the main protagonist of the game is a divorced gambler who entered the contest for the big money.
Hwang also teased new characters and developments in the second season stating that the mysterious salesman who recruits players might be back.
The letter also noted that viewers will be introduced to Cheol-su, the boyfriend of the show's infamous animatronic doll, Young-hee.
Squid Game Season 2 will be bigger
On Thursday, May 19, 2022, Legit.ng reported season two of Squid Game is going to be bigger and will include games that will prove a tougher test for humanity.
The show's director Hwang Donghyuk said that the sequel of the Netflix blockbuster will be full of surprises and "nothing but chaos."
Humanity put to test
The director said:
"Humanity is going to be put to a test through those games once again. I want to ask the question, is true solidarity between humans possible?"
The director noted that he believes problems amongst the players in Squid Game could be solved if they became supportive of each other.
He said:
"If they were capable of talking with one another, of co-operating with one another, I do agree that there could have been a possibility that we could have seen more winners."
Actor Lee Jung-Jae told People the upcoming season will serve new surprises to viewers.
"I hope there's some sort of twist that'll be exciting and surprising for me and the viewers. If it was predictable, it would be no fun." " Lee said.
