According to co-producers, FilmOne NG, the 2020 comedy film recently scooped Africa’s highest-grossing film of 2020/21 award at the META Cinema Conference in the United Arab Emirates.

Omo Ghetto was released to impressive box office numbers in December 2020, and it is worthy of note that just a few weeks after its release, it broke a nearly five-year record as Nollywood’s highest-grossing movie of all time.
The movie stars Funke Akindele in the dual role of Ayomide and Lefty, Tina Mba, Adebayo Salami aka Oga Bello, Chioma Akpotha, Bimbo Thomas, Deyemi Okanlawon, Eniola Badmus, Zubby Michael, among others.

Oyinbo lady acts like Salewa in Funke Akindele’s Omo Ghetto
Nollywood actress Funke Akindele-Bello commended an ‘oyinbo’ fan who did an amazing job with recreating a scene from her Omo Ghetto: The Saga movie.
The TikTok content creator identified as @Szabina rocked a colourful wig just like Funke’s character in the film.
She went on to reenact a scene in which Funke’s character had an exchange with her twin sister over the actions of their mum.
Well, @szabina did an interesting job with her reenactment which made Funke repost the video on her page.
Just like Funke who enjoyed the clip, some of her fans and colleagues who also found it funny reacted to the hilarious video.
